Mead and tortillas!
Well, the bhut jolokia is dead. Turns out, you can over-fertilize a plant. I drank the pear mead, it was fairly smooth, no over-bearing pear taste to it. The raspberry mead was good as well, a bit rougher but still strong. I made some tortillas tonight with what i had for kitchen utensils, I will need to get a tortilla plate so I can cook them properly.

Today I transferred the mead to a new bottle. I only did it today since tomorrow is Mother's Day, and I am told I will be busy all day. I cubed 2 new pears and added them into the mix throwing away the old ones. I set a small bit aside while I was transferring to taste it. It was nice, it had a little bit of honey and pear mixed quite nicely together with a real nice after taste to it. From here, the long wait begins.

Mead
I started a batch of mead on Sunday, May 6. On Tuesday I cubed 2 pears and added them into the mix, the yeast really loved that. The yeast is still going to town on the pears, and the bubbling is going quite nicely. I will post a picture as soon as I can find a camera to take a good picture.
